My Chest with a Tan Line, 2016

When a collector asked me how long it took for pine to “tan” in the sun, I left this wooden board near the window with something that could conveniently stay on: a tank top. It sat in my living room in the sun for about a year and a half before its identity “transitioned” from experiment to combine.
